The young English winger has joined WSG Tirol in the Austrian league on loan for the 26/27 season. Olakigbe grew up in London and began his football career in the QPR academy, before moving to Fulham and subsequently his current parent club, Brentford. 4 loan spells later and Olakigbe finds himself on the continent, looking to finally prove himself in a new environment.
Already making his mark with a goal in a 1-1 draw against title-contenders Sturm Graz , alongside a superb display against SC Austria Lustenau, registering a goal and assist, we see Olakigbe as a safe investment for the 26/27 season.

After several clubs took a keen eye to the Senegalese winger, Unai Emery seems to be the man that has snatched him up from the likes of Liverpool and other Premier League giants. The 18 year old made 24 league appearances last season, before starring at the World Cup against France. A devastating runner with youthful energy, Mbaye made his debut for the Champions League winners at just 16 years old.
As part of Emery’s rebuild, attacking options are needed. Absent of Rogers and Watkins, Aston Villa will have to find goals from new places. Despite being just 18 years old, the reported £47 million fee indicates a desire to plunge Mbaye straight into first team football with the trust that he can deliver in what looks to be a challenging campagin at Villa Park. Mbaye is a strong investment with proven quality and an entire career ahead of him in Claret & Blue.

The Premier League title seems to be wrapped up already in many people’s eyes. Arsenal’s experience in title-races, in addition to the depth and quality of the squad, has led many to believe that their is no true contest this season, when considering the change and uncertainty surrounding other possible contenders.
However, now Emi Martínez has secured a move to Chelsea, taking the gloves from the underwhelming Robert Sanchez, The Blues are set for a strong season. Martínez has brought consistent brilliance to Aston Villa and the Argentinian national team. Chelsea now have a World Cup winner between the sticks, this could be an opportunity to do something special with Xabi Alonso at the helm.
