Andreas Hansen is the classic ‘keeper for you!

Andreas Hansen has been a goalkeeper of mine for over a year now, and I have never considered cashing in on the Dane, due to his consistency and the club he plays for (FC Nordsjælland), who are a consistent domestic performer and European qualifier.

However, over the past few matches, he has taken it to a whole new level. 7 clean sheets in a row with AA scores ranging from just 3 all the way up to 26, show the value of the asset: FC Nordsjælland are a dominant team in their league, meaning solid defensive performances are plentiful, and with that, clean sheets for the goalkeeper.

However, when more of a challenging opponent arrives such as the other top dogs of Danish football or a game across the continent, Hansen is more that capable of producing what’s needed to keep the ball out the net.

This week, they face ST Gallen in the second leg of a European qualifier after winning the first game 1-0, in Hansen’s highest performance of this streak. ST Gallen will be determined to at least equalise the aggregate score, especially at their home ground in Switzerland.

Could the streak come to an end in this fixture? Either way, Hansen is a phenomenal purchase for anyone, especially with how positively placed FC Nordsjælland are in the modern football scene.
