Big Buys as the Season Kicks Off!

Kang-In Lee - A phenomenal creative asset to any team, the South-Korean talisman will hope to have found a team he can excel in. After a huge impact off the bench in his La Liga debut, Kang-In Lee was an immediate buy. A final-third dictator with a wand of a left foot, I’d be certain of several 90+ performances this season with his huge A.A (all-around score) potential and decisive ability contributing to goals.

Djibril Sidibé - The experienced wing-back has signed for newly-promoted side Le Mans after 2 years at Toulouse. At the age of 34, the Frenchman has clearly been brought in to aid in the race for survival with his knowledge and familiarity with the league, however that’s not to say he can’t contribute on the pitch. Sidibé managed 3 goals and 4 assists in Ligue 1 last season, with 3 75+ performances and 11 59+ performances. As I build my Super Rare roster, Sidibé could add a slight edge for his last years in professional football.

Konstantinos Tzolakis - Needing an In-Season Premier League goalkeeper for the new season was a pricey deliberation. Therefore, I chose the cheapest option, new Hull City goalkeeper Konstantinos Tzolakis. He arrived from Olympiacos as an incredibly highly-rated youngster, signing for around £20 million. After his first fixture against Manchester United ended with a clean sheet and just under 40 points of goalkeeping A.A, immediately the purchase felt justified. Hull will face plenty of shots this season, so whilst clean sheets will not always be the resulting product, Tzolakis will receive plenty of decent-to-high scores through saves alone. A necessary acquisition with a promising future ahead.
